In Wednesday's league outing, the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Orono Riots (Orono, ME), by a count of 73-24.
The Lynx (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the C North outing with a 9-4 record.
The Riots now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Penobscot Valley for a C North outing on Friday, January 26. Orono will clash with a Howlers squad coming off a 72-15 league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 10-2.
