Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgecroft upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC) to play the Raiders in a NCISAA Tarheel bout on Thursday, January 25. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 13-8. Pungo Christian Academy lost 46-39 in their recent league bout against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Northeast Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record.
