The South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) basketball nipped the host Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), 54-53 in Wednesday's league test.
The Stallions (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record.
The Tornadoes now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Gordo for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25.
