With the victory, River Mill improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC) to confront the Wolves in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Woods Charter won 36-10 in their recent league challenge against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC)

Next up, the Lions confront the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge, on Friday, January 26. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 65-30 league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
