California High School Basketball - Taft trounced by Shafter

The Shafter Generals routed the visiting Taft Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 69-16 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Generals face the McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) in a South Sequoia game, on Friday, January 26. Shafter will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 5-18 record after their 70-38 league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA).
