Mississippi High School Basketball - Simmons overwhelms West Tallahatchie

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) and the host West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS), saw Simmons's basketball squad wallop West Tallahatchie by a tally of 59-33.
With the victory, Simmons improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Choctaws play the Shaw Warriors (Shaw, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. West Tallahatchie will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
