Virginia High School Basketball - Woodson can't hold off Alexandria City

The Alexandria City Titans basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Woodson Cavaliers to 27 in the Titans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Titans now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robinson for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Alexandria City will battle a Rams team coming off a 45-25 non-league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Rams record now stands at 2-8.
The Cavaliers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines enter the contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, West Potomac nudged Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 38-23, in a league contest.
