Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (Tampa, FL), 50-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gulf upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Lecanto won 48-9 in their recent non-league bout against Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Berkeley Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
