The Burroughs Burros basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Hesperia Scorpions to 26 in the Burros league triumph on Wednesday.
The Burros now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Valley for a contest on Wednesday, January 31. Burroughs will meet a Sun Devils team coming off a 38-33 league loss to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Sun Devils record now stands at 3-8.
The Scorpions (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Sun Devils enter the contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Apple Valley was outscored by Serrano (Phelan, CA), 23-18, in a league contest.
