The La Quinta Aztecs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Loara Saxons to 19 in the Aztecs league victory on Wednesday.
The Aztecs now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santiago for a contest on Friday, January 26. La Quinta will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 28-22 league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-8.
The Saxons (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA). The Lobos come into the contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Los Amigos was routed by Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 20-17, in a league contest.
