Virginia High School Basketball - Riverheads ripped by Staunton

The Staunton Storm basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 18 in the Storm non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Storm now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Gap for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Staunton will battle a Bison team coming off a 31-28 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Bison record now stands at 9-3.
The Gladiators (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Wilson Memorial triumphed over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 42-28, in a non-league contest.
