The Deerfield Academy Big Green ice hockey squad scored 2 points and restricted the host Westminster School Martlets to 1 in the Big Green league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Deerfield Academy moves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Big Green travel to Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT) to face the Griffins in a contest on Friday, January 26. The Griffins go into the contest with a record of 6-10. Pomfret School won 7-1 in their recent league contest against Austin Prep (Reading, MA)

The Martlets now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Kent School for a game on Saturday, January 27. Westminster School will battle a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
