Virginia High School Basketball - Clarke County can't hold off Strasburg

The Strasburg Rams basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Clarke County Eagles to 40 in the Rams non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rams now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Strasburg will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 34-32 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-9.
The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Rappahannock County edged Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA), 61-17, in a non-league contest.
