Virginia High School Basketball - Eastern Montgomery ripped by George Wythe

The George Wythe Maroons basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs to 20 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Maroons now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. George Wythe will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-2.
The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Green Waves enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Narrows triumphed over Craig County (New Castle, VA), 34-26, in a non-league contest.
