Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eau Gallie Commodores (Melbourne, FL), 62-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Merritt Island upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Scorpions come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Commodores play the Rockledge Raiders (Rockledge, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Eau Gallie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
