Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 51-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Floyd County upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Buffaloes host Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Patrick County lost 49-24 in their recent non-league bout against Radford (Radford, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Terriers go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
