In Wednesday's non-league outing, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 69-38.
The Bears (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Piedra Vista was trounced by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 56-45, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league outing on Friday, January 26.
