Virginia High School Basketball - Riverheads ripped by Staunton

The Staunton Storm basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Riverheads Gladiators to 35 in the Storm non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Storm now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Gap for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Staunton will battle a Bison team coming off a 38-20 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Bison record now stands at 8-7.
The Gladiators (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Wilson Memorial triumphed over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 55-36, in a non-league contest.
