Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), 83-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Willow Canyon upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Pride in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 64-31 league win over Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).
