Texas High School Basketball - Americas overwhelms Bel Air

The Americas Trail Blazers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Bel Air Highlanders to 31 in the Trail Blazers league triumph on Friday.

The Trail Blazers now possess a 16-10 record. They play next when they host Horizon for a 5A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. Americas will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 47-37 league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 5-19.

With the loss, Bel Air falls to 12-15 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Deming (Deming, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-15.
