Amesbury Redhawks (Amesbury, MA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), 64-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Amesbury advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Redhawks host Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-5.

The Tigers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittier RVT for a non-league match on Monday, January 27.
