The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Dike-New Hartford Wolverines to 53 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jesup for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Dike-New Hartford falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to confront the Pirates in a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-12. Hudson lost 76-58 in their recent non-league game against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
