In Friday's league contest, the visiting Atascocita Eagles basketball team scored a good 62-44 triumph over the Kingwood Mustangs.
The Eagles (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 23 contest with a 15-15 record. In their last contest, North Shore topped Channelview (Channelview, TX), 72-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the King Panthers (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Kingwood will attempt to better on its 16-12 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 16-8 record after their 72-51 league win over Humble (Humble, TX).
