The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) and the host Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA), observed George Washington's basketball team edge Bassett by a score of 64-57.
The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the Piedmont challenge with a 7-10 record.
