The Raiders (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Merrillville was routed by Portage (Portage, IN), 60-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bison encounter the Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) in a Hoosier - West challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Benton Central will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 52-49 non-league loss to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN).
