The Durand Railroaders basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Birch Run Panthers to 43 in the Railroaders league triumph on Friday.

The Railroaders now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Ovid-Elsie for a Mid-Michigan game on Tuesday, January 28. Durand will confront a Marauders team coming off a 66-39 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Birch Run falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lakeville (Otisville, MI) to confront the Falcons in a Mid-Michigan game on Tuesday, January 28. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 4-11. Lakeville lost 84-47 in their recent league game against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI)
