Illinois High School Basketball - Bloom victorious over Thornwood

In Friday's league contest, the host Bloom Blazing Trojan basketball team scored a good 72-60 triumph over the Thornwood Thunderbirds.

The Blazing Trojan (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays go into the Southland contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Kankakee topped Antioch (Antioch, IL), 78-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Thornwood will attempt to better on its 10-13 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 61-54 league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
