Texas High School Basketball - Calhoun trounced by Rockport-Fulton

The Calhoun Sandcrabs basketball squad (Port Lavaca, TX), was crushed 75-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX)

With the victory, Rockport-Fulton advances its record to 15-15 on the year. The Pirates host Sinton (Sinton, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 6-17. Sinton won 70-32 in their recent league outing against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX)

The Sandcrabs (1-14) will now prepare for their outing against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans come into the 4A Region IV District 30 outing with a 14-11 record. In their last outing, Jones was overwhelmed by Ingleside (Ingleside, TX), 58-55, in a league outing.
