The Columbus Falcons basketball team scored 88 points and limited the visiting Callaway Chargers to 66 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 19-3 record. They play next when they travel to Vicksburg for a 6A Region 2 game on Saturday, January 25. Columbus will confront a Gators team coming off a 73-54 non-league win over McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Gators record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Callaway falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) to confront the Rockets in a 6A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 10-12. Neshoba Central won 55-49 in their recent league game against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS)
