The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), observed McCracken County's basketball team edge Calloway County by a score of 67-63.

The Mustangs (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals come into the non-league challenge with a 19-0 record. In their last challenge, Marshall County edged Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY), 72-61, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lakers encounter the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Calloway County will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record.
