In Friday's league contest, the host John Carroll Patriots basketball team scored a good 59-46 win over the Calvert Hall Cardinals.
The Patriots (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars come into the MIAA A - Red contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Mount Carmel defeated Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD), 82-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Calvert Hall will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 55-45 non-league win over McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD).
