The Morton Potters (Morton, IL) basketball crushed the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), 63-37 in Friday's league bout.

The Potters now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Morton will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 75-58 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Canton falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Little giants travel to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to play the Raiders in a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 15-5. East Peoria won 67-46 in their recent league bout against Limestone (Bartonville, IL)
