The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cape Cod Academy Seahawks (Osterville, MA) and the host Falmouth Academy Mariners (Falmouth, MA), observed Cape Cod Academy's basketball team overwhelm Falmouth Academy by a score of 80-23.
The Seahawks (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver (Carver, MA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Carver was routed by Cohasset (Cohasset, MA), 57-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA) in a Cape & Islands - Lighthouse challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Falmouth Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
