With the victory, Carthage advances its record to 2-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX) to face the Knights in a 4A Region II District 16 match on Friday, January 31. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-17. Cumberland Academy lost 91-49 in their recent league match against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX)

The Panthers now own a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Tree for a 4A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, January 28. Spring Hill will face a Pirates squad coming off a 48-32 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 16-11.
