The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) and the host St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), observed Cascade Christian's basketball team knock off St. Mary's by a score of 66-53.

The Challengers (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers come into the 3A Southern Oregon challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Lakeview prevailed over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR), 59-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a 3A Southern Oregon challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 67-36 league loss to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR).
