The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) and the visiting Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, LA), observed Central Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Centerville by a margin of 84-52.

The Eagles (16-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA). The Tigers come into the 1A District 7 challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Jeanerette was trounced by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 46-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a 1A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Centerville will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record.
