South Carolina High School Basketball - North Central toppled by Central

Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), 69-61 in a league match.

With the victory, Central advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to York Prep (Rock Hill, SC) to face the Patriots in a AA Region 4 match on Saturday, January 25. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 12-7. York Prep won 65-50 in their recent league match against Cheraw (Cheraw, SC)

The Knights now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buford for a AA Region 4 match on Saturday, January 25. North Central will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 75-34 league loss to York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-10.
