In Friday's league contest, the host Milton Eagles basketball team scored a big 77-42 triumph over the Chattahoochee Cougars.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Wheeler smashed North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA), 82-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 contest, on Saturday, January 25. Chattahoochee will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Red Elephants go into the contest with a 13-6 record after their 57-51 league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA).
