The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the host Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), observed Poly's basketball team overwhelm Chavez by a score of 100-23.

The Parrots (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Huskies come into the East Valley challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, North Hollywood was routed by Marshall (Los Angeles, CA), 84-73, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Monday, January 27. Chavez will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 64-63 non-league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA).
