The Chiefland Indians basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Dixie County Bears to 43 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now have a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Citrus for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Chiefland will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 70-40 non-league loss to Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-17.
With the loss, Dixie County falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Branford (Branford, FL) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 8-11.
