The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the University School Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) and the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), observed University School's basketball team overwhelm Cloudland by a score of 79-50.

The Buccaneers (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 7-12 record. In their last challenge, Volunteer was routed by Cherokee (Rogersville, TN), 43-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Cloudland will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Jellico (Jellico, TN).
