The Sale Creek Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Copper Basin Cougars to 45 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Chattanooga Prep for a 1A District 5 game on Monday, January 27. Sale Creek will confront a Sentinels team coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Sentinels record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Copper Basin falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Cougars host Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 9-5. Robbinsville won 57-48 in their recent league game against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC)
