The Providence Classical Paladins basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Covenant Christian Cougars to 44 in the Paladins league triumph on Friday.

The Paladins now possess a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Giddings Lonestar Southeast for a TAPPS 3A District 5 game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Covenant Christian falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lifestyle Christian (Conroe, TX) to confront the Victors in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Victors go into the game with a record of 1-10. Lifestyle Christian lost 56-21 in their recent league game against Founders Christian (Spring, TX)
