California High School Basketball - Pinewood bested by Crystal Springs Uplands

Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA), 55-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Crystal Springs Uplands advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Gryphons host King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA) to face the Knights in a West Bay match on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights enter the match with a record of 15-3. King's Academy won 68-48 in their recent non-league match against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA)

The Panthers now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart Prep for a West Bay match on Tuesday, January 28. Pinewood will face a Gators squad coming off a 46-41 non-league win over Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Gators record now stands at 9-6.
