In Friday's league test, the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) basketball squad trounced the host Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), by a final score of 63-37.

Next, the Catamounts clash with the Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Dalton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 14-4 record after their 64-30 non-league loss to North Oconee (Bogart, GA).

The Wildcats (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Cedartown was overwhelmed by Cass (White, GA), 57-54, in a league test.
