The South Point Pointers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Dawson-Bryant Hornets to 52 in the Pointers league triumph on Friday.
The Pointers now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Minford for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. South Point will confront a Falcons team coming off a 65-57 league win over Valley (Lucasville, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Dawson-Bryant falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Ironton (Ironton, OH) to confront the Fighting Tigers in a Ohio Valley game on Saturday, January 25. The Fighting Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-4. Ironton won 84-40 in their recent league game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH)
