In Friday's league contest, the host De Soto Pirates basketball team scored a good 59-43 triumph over the Weston Silver Eagles.
The Pirates (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca (Seneca, WI). The Indians go into the Ridge & Valley contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Seneca topped Ithaca (Richland Center, WI), 46-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Silver Eagles battle the Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Weston will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 85-42 league loss to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI).
