The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Southwestern Heights was topped by Sublette (Sublette, KS), 58-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Deerfield will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 66-62 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, KS).
