The Eau Claire Beavers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting River Valley Mustangs to 37 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.

The Beavers now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fennville for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Eau Claire will play a Blackhawks team coming off a 55-37 league loss to Coloma (Coloma, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, River Valley falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Colon (Colon, MI) to play the Magi in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Magi go into the game with a record of 10-3. Colon lost 58-48 in their recent league game against St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI)
