The Elkin Buckin' Elks basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host North Stokes Vikings to 59 in the Buckin' Elks league triumph on Friday.

The Buckin' Elks now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they host East Wilkes for a 1A Northwest contest on Tuesday, January 28. Elkin will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 58-56 league win over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-6.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a 1A Northwest contest, on Tuesday, January 28. North Stokes will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record.
